How many can play
We can field up to a maximum of 24 players at a time. The minimum number of players to run a session is 6.
Is there a minimum age
No, but we recommend the following guidelines for participation.
* Age up to 5 years: Parents play with their kids, with a parent within arm’s reach
* Age 6 to 10: Recommend parents play with kids
* Age 11-14: Recommend at least one person over 16 play with the kids/teens.
All players must complete a waiver of liability and indemnity form. Players under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver.
Is it safe
Yes. Laser Tag is eye-safe. Despite being called “LASER tag” there are actually no lasers. Rather the system uses harmless infrared light, just like your TV remote. There are no projectiles unlike a gel blaster gun or paintball marker. Gel Blasters use water pellets, which are small and can cause eye injuries. Paintball markers use a larger paint pellet, and these are well known for causing bruises. Both require eye protection such as goggles or face masks. There are no age limits for playing laser tag, whereas in Queensland you need to be 15 years or older to play paintball.
What should I bring
Everyone must wear long pants, such as trousers or jeans, covering past their ankles. Everyone must wear covered footwear. If you have hiking boots wear them, if not then runners are okay.
We recommend camouflage or neutral tones, so that it is not too easy for your opposition to spot you!
Be sun safe in your clothing choices and wear sun-screen. A large water bottle for each player is highly recommended.
Do you play in the rain
Yes. We will play through showers or rain, only pausing for a thunder or lightning storm if deemed unsafe. We will normally resume the game when storm has passed. All sales are final. No credit, refund, exchange, or compensation will be paid for persons not present at the date and time of the event, unless there is inclement weather and we cancel the session. If we cancel a session then your booking will be credited to another date.
How long is a session
Sessions run for 1.5 hours including rules briefing and equipment issue. During that time a variety of games with different objectives are played with 2 teams.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your session booking with full refund up to 24 hours prior to the session start time. No refund is availab le for cancellations made within the 24 hours before the session time. In the event that we cancel a session due to bad weather or other circumstances then a credit will be given for a future session.
